Sometimes I wonder, "Why do I bother?"
providencia:
As long as this has nothing to do with offing yourself (because I'm selfish and never know when I'll be in NM in need of someone trustworthy with mechanic skills) Why bother?

Think of it this way. Take a vacation. Start off with a week of not bothering. I'm all for self-reliance so if you have to teach it by going on strike, so be it.

because you're compelled by a greater force?

Man, I love that!

That shit has me cracking up!

so if he rose from the dead after three days, he technically was "zombie jesus" right? that would imply that to become a zombie would be in alignment with the christian ideal, to be "more like him." i should go to church. shit.

that would also explain why he promoted the eating of human bodies at the last supper. we've opened a whole other can of worms here.

I got ahold of the japanese release of the Mars Volta's "Frances the Mute" and it's awesome. it seems strange to me that I like ATDI and the Mars Volta so much in addition to what I usually listen to. I'd like to see them live again-- no one really got into it when they opened for A Perfect Circle, but I thought it was...

i thought John Mayer sucked until I saw him and Derek Trucks play freeform blues at the Jammy's at work. That guy is pretty amazing. I just wish his CD's weren't so commercialized, he's in the same boat as Los Lonely Boys.

i bet you do...

So, I'm not going to see Shadows Fall, Lamb of God and Slipknot because the tickets are almost $50 apiece. to go to a mediocre venue. fuck that.

That rules.

Yeah, I know. It'll probably bite me in the ass later.

However, I'm making enough right now a tthe shop and doing freelance work to be picky. Won't last long, though.

I would be mean to mention that I haven't been sick in about 7 years now, right? And now that I take something called Quercetin (not a drug it's found in oranges and pineapples among other things), I have no allergy problems.

I'm feeling healthy and losing weight.

Now don't get me wrong.

I have this nagging voice in my head that says any day now that I'm going to have an explosive brain aneurism and shit myself in public as I die. But I won't die before I go into a Turrets-like fit of foul cursing and get my ass beat by a gang of octogenarians who are on a day pass to go see Million Dollar Baby.

Ok. Maybe some of that was exaggerated for your entertainment but....it's still there, sorta.

I hope you get better before your snow clears. smile

move up here, rain becomes a shitty thing that makes your basement leak plus i'm without windshield wipers...

hope you get well, everyone i know is dropping like shit out of a cow's ass and i'm hoping to dodge it so i can preserve my precious sick hours for concerts i don't plan to go to ahead of time
