so relating back to the post I made a couple of days ago, it would be very useful to have little displays up on walls versus paper that turns into litter.
I figure if they are glass walls with mounts for displays then they'd be safe from weather, and theft to a degree. As long as it is easy to clean the transparent wall they are mounted on.
Otherwise that interview does mention something else that I find interesting. Richard Morgan is helping them write the story for Crysis 2? Nice
His works are easily some of the darkest, grittiest and most compelling I've read recently. I'd say he's a master sci-fi writer (Altered Carbon) but he moved on to more modern times (Market Forces) and other (fantasy).
Where Black Man applies best to what Crytek is working on. Basically what happens to decom Supermen who were designed, genetically, and then programmed to fight wars and defend civil liberties etc.
The question becomes more relevant everyday as cops are murdered and soldier are killed in the field of battle. At some point the human being will become obsolete as a war fighter and we'll have to find or create something else to fight our wars, protect those civil liberties.
Though Crysis, being a video games, isn't broaching that overall subject it does beg the question of who controls those beef monkeys in the nano suits after they've killed all the aliens?
But I'd rather look at is as Morgan getting some extra exposure in something dynamic and massive. Been hoping for a movie, with him directing but well whatever Crysis in HD has to be a great alternative.
Just not on consoles, but that's just my bias talking.
