I never would have thought, but my party went extraordinarily well. I was sure that I would simply spend the entire time in my mom's little kitchen and cook in order to keep myself busy and avoid everyone, but I didn't. I enjoyed myself, I talked to people. And everyone seemed to have a really good time. It was so much better than I could have expected. Of course, after flying home I have contracted some sort of illness which has strapped me to the couch for the day. Hopefully, it will let loose its mightly grip of sickness and allow me to be tied to the bed instead.

I've been actively avoiding these sorts of internet tell-all sites for about a week. I know, a whole week, incredible. But I'm starting to be very wary of them. I get the feeling that people, and maybe even I, think that because the internet is so large, and because we are using something other than our given name, that these sorts of things allow some semblance of anonymity. This is, however, entirely false. For instance, I would probably (or possibly) conduct myself differently on this site if my parents had accounts. I have been thinking about this a lot recently due to a number of key incidents, the first of which involved thefacebook, the second of which involved this site here. My dad decided to get a facebook account, which is fine with me. I realized that I do not have any incriminating material on that site. But what if I had. I guess he'll just have to deal? I guess.
