everytime things seem like they might be looking up.... they get that much worse.

a. thursday morning i got some really fucked up myspace message...
the person said they were my friend erin's mom (it was from one of erin's friends accounts)
and that she was checking erin's myspace page out in order to find me... the message read something
like...
"Hi Kait, this is Erin's mom. I'm sorry to tell you this, but Erin died Tuesday morning...."
and then she went on to tell me to stop by anytime or call and she left the number... which was erin's
home number... turns out it was all real. she said she was sorry that she emailed me like that, but
she didn't have my number and she had to let me know. the memorial service was friday afternoon...
i believe i'll be going back to erin's house sometime this week to visit with her mom and look at erin's
artwork. yeah.

b. my friend that was gonna visit last weekend but couldnt... apparently yesterday he decided he wasn't going to visit at all now... yup, wonderful.

c. my little sister and i went to see a movie at 11:59 thursday night to get my mind off things... (guess what we went to see) the movie crapped out before the end. we aren't sure how much we missed. all we know is that at 2:30am it's really not cool to have the film all over the floor. by the way, we were in theater #13. just my luck, right? don't tell me how it ended... since we'll end up going to see it again at some point.

d. oh yeah, and all my ex's have girlfriends... the worst ex of all (the one that was hitting on my sisters 14 year old friends) is getting married. yup, and i've still never had a real boyfriend... you know, one that's around for more than a few months and actually does fun things with you... like picnics and aquariums and zoos and art galleries and trips to new restaurants... amoung other things...


and people wonder why i'm a rather gloomy girl...

and a few strong drinks
in very large glasses.
