Hey all my SG friends. Sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I've been having major issues with my ex-husband. He and I at the moment share equal custody of my son (who will be 7 in July), meaning we have him equal amount of days. But my son informed me yesterday that he doesn't want to live with Daddy anymore because he is a...

he got it at the Newbury Comics in Avon, MA. I couldn't find it on their website, but maybe you'll be lucky and find it at one of the stores in CT.

Hey everyone. I could really use your prayers, or if you don't pray your good karma, etc. I'm trying to get a friend of mine into detox tomorrow. Heroine is her drug of choice although she is not on it now. Methadone, Seboxin, etc., etc.. But she is so dependent on all these other "drugs" and is soooo sick when she doesn't have them. I...

BTW, I wanted to say thank you for the card. I got it a few days ago, but only noticed it the other day amongst a pile of other mail. Whoops! blush

'Twas a nice little surprise, though. smile

EXCUSES - I HATE THEM!

Excuses may seem like rational reasons for us not to do something, but if we're not careful we can allow them to keep us from reaching our goals. Too often we accept our excuses as reasons why we cannot accomplish what we set out to do, and instead of finding alternatives we give up. But if we can be honest...

We all have our own life story. It is filled with relationships and events that help shape who we are and what we believe to be true about the world. Depending on our perspective and willingness to grow, our experiences can become fodder for negativity and patterns of playing the victim, or they can fuel a life of empowerment and continued self-development. It is the...

I've been posting a lot of words of wisdom in my blogs, and I hope that all my friends have gotten some inspiration or at least something to think about through them. I now have some more words on a lighter note. For the girls:

At first I was afraid, I was petrified.
When you said you had 10 inches, Lord I almost died!
But...

Recharging Your Batteries (not what you think!...LOL)

Our natural state of being is vibrant, happy to be alive. Yet, there can be times when we feel run down and worn out. This does not mean that we are lazy or unfit for the tasks in our lives; it means that we need to recharge our batteries and find a way of keeping them charged. Vitamins...

Once you get clear on the root cause, you can weed it out and better direct your flow of energy in the future.

Can u come over and mow my stupid weeds, they are those damn thistle weeds that no matter how many times you hank the root out and pour bleach on them they keep coming back, I thinking a good mowing would do me well right now frown

EVERYONE HAS A STORY TO TELL

It's easy to forget sometimes that everyone has a story to tell if we take the time to listen. We are so accustomed to hearing the stories of people in the news that we sometimes lose track of the fact that the random stranger on the bus also has a fascinating story about where they came from and how...

Just because we can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist

Just because we can't see something doesn't mean it doesn't exist, although this is a common way in which people deny the existence of spirit guides, angels, and other unseen helpers in our lives. However, anyone who has encountered such beings can attest to the fact that they do, indeed, exist, just as our...

Remember don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Proof of things not being as they appear is demonstrated by common sense physics. The speed of light is faster than the speed of sound as we all know. An example is that someone at first may look intelligent, but then they speak.
I too have found that what I believe is much stronger that what I know. I have spoken. Good luck on the weight loss, I lost 125# myself in the last 2 years, mostly running.

HAVE FUN!!

Often when we talk about fun, or doing things just for fun, we talk about it in a dismissive way as if fun isn't important. We tend to value hard work and seriousness, and we forget to pay our respects to the equally important, light side of silliness and laughter. This is ironic because we all know the feeling of euphoria that follows...

Your Best IS Always Good Enough!!

We often come into contact with the idea that our best isn't good enough, as if this were actually possible. If you examine this notion, you will begin to see that it doesn't make much sense. Your best is always good enough, because it comes from you, and you are always good enough. You may not be able to...
