Did some cleaning today...even put away all t hose things that build up over time in the four corner of my room...DVDs, printer geek white papers and info sheets, and paid bills and monthly account mailings.

Winter fought with a last vengeance early this week, dumping 15 inches of snow, but spring got back up and seems to have won that inevitable battle...the snow disappeared...

I'm feeling geeky, but helpful tonight. Here's some recent cool finds (and nothing too complicated to run).

Ad-Aware is a spyware removal tool, probably the most widely-used and best out there. A majority of the issues I see at work where the main symtoms are "my computer is slow," "IE is giving me weird errors," or "I keep getting popup ads" can be eliminated with...

Yah, sure one can get too wrapped up in things. But this is a one month vow. I can afford to be wrapped up in something that only lasts a month. That, and once I learn these things, it won't take so much effort anymore. It's a one time investment to learn what has rennet and what doesn't.

OOOO GOOD CALLS MAN, I use both ad-aware and spybot. I didnt know bout the others though. thanks.

It snowed yesterday...a beautiful thick, medium-sized flakey snow...all day. All told, I heard we got up to 15 inches of snow, but because it's barely freezing at best, a heck of a lot of it melted...but there was enough up to my knees when I got home.

I swear a lady at work spent the entire day walking around exclaiming to everyone how gross and...

Distilled water for a computer? What -are- you doing?

It snowed here the other day, and I was also of the minority opinion that it was really pretty out. Most of it melted by today, though. =/

It's the oddities in each of us that make us interesting and who we are....not the comformities or the feelings that we share with the majority. In the latter case, we just end up being no different than the common...

...take for instance the complete feeling of satisfaction and bliss and peace that I feel when listening to Yanni (granted, not all his stuff I...

When we were young,
And truth was paramount;
We were older then,
And we lived our life without any doubt;
Those memories,
They seem so long ago;
What's become of them?
When you feel like me I want you to know.

Searching for lyrics does indeed suck. There are a few sites that are pretty good (azlyrics, plyrics), but using google always proves to be painful.

Someone needs to scrap together a bigass raid, a fast connection, and do it right.

What can I buy to make the sky turn blue again?
Where can I go to feel like I'm alive again?
Show me the places where I can forget your name;
I can't find anything except a void inside;
I don't have anything if I don't have you.

I must have just hit the magic number of times to buy gas with a credit card or something...in the last two business days I have received 5 pre-approved gas-credit-card mailings, all the same size, the same contents, to be returned to the same god-forsaken place in South Dakota, and all bearing logos from different competing gas companies. Lame...

Word, I'll have to check that distro out. Fortunately, all I needed a livecd for was a router, and I managed to get that working by stealing a router from work for a week or so.

I've made some cds lately for my car, mostly songs that I missed from the radio from years past...such as late 80's and early through mid 90's music. I've sort of created 4 cd mixes for my car, in slightly chronological order...

Radio Daze 1
1. Deep Blue Something - Halo
2. EMF - Unbelievable
3. Gin Blossoms - Hey Jealousy
4. Live - I...
