I AM GOING TO JAPAN...DEFINITELY.

just booked a trip yesterday.

i'll be in tokyo on may 20th. then travel around japan for a few weeks, hitting the major cities of nagasaki and kyoto, as well as visiting several small farming towns and islands.

i haven't taken a big trip since 2002, when i went to costa rica. what a once-in-a-lifetime experience that was: rainforests, active volcanoes, howler monkeys, jesus lizards, sloths (my favorite!), the flights through the air on the zip lines, snorkeling...

and now i get to have another awesome experience.

god, i love all things japanese. i have never been to japan before, but all my life, it is where i feel my heart has been. i don't believe in anything, not even really that i am typing this right now, but if believed in past lives and all that shit...

then i was japanese in a past life.

i've always loved to travel and so far i've been to roughly a dozen different countries...but this has always been my dream.
