SWEEEEEET.

Finally, Im getting some leads on getting an actual career going. Yeah yeah, Im only 20, and I should be in school, fuck that.

I really love working on cars, and Ive got a really good hand for just about anything mechanical, that and I learn fast.

So, there's a buddy of mine that owns/runs a pretty big time repair shop on capitol hill, not that far from Dreammaker's place. They regularly maintain and repair some really high end cars, as well as anyone else who happens to wander in their direction.

So anyway, a few weeks ago, they lost their parts guy, and they've been talking amongst the partners on what to do about it, but my friend said its pretty likely that they'll just hire another person in the near future.

So I gave him a call this afternoon, since I wanted his advice on something else automotive, and he told me that whenever they make a decision, Im the first person on the list.

So needless to say, Im pretty pumped. Hell, even if I was a lot boy, and all I did was wash and park Ferrari's and BMW's all day, Id be happy, because Id be near the shop, and able to get some *real* hands on work experience towards something that I really want to do, and have a passion for. Parts guy would be even better though, closer to the action.

So, next on the to do list:
Talk to my uncle about camping on his floor in SF for Prom...
Get my car fixed...
Buy supplies...
And hope that I can get this in at the car shop!

Its gonna be an exciting next couple of weeks.
