Last night was fun despite the lack of swimming. The CRD now patrols the lakes at night and gives people warnings and/or fines if they go swimming past dusk. Too bad, because all the stars were out and it was a beautiful night to go for a dip. I did get to the "Oak Bay Tea Party" fair where I proceded to win my friend a stuffed pug at the darts game. We got to see fireworks, as well. Strange tradition, fireworks.

Hectic couple of days coming up! Today I'm going to meet my friend for coffee, then I think I have to attend a meeting for the fashion/fetish show that's coming up. Tonight, I do my weekly volunteer shift at the womens' transition house. Tomorrow night will be the usual "Queer As Folk" watching party at my house, followed by drinking and dancing at Metal Monday at my favorite bar.

PS- Strange fact: the toenail polish I put on for the set of photos I had taken for SG is still there. Chipped, nonetheless, but still there. "There must be something wrong with me, my toenails haven't grown at all today!"
