terminally clueless. lol. Have you ever been doing or going someplace for a while, and you have your assumptions and your judgements. The point of view you carry with you that filters everything. And then someone casually tells you something that is the swift kick to the frame, and the picture falls out glass crashing onto the floor shattering into a billion pieces? And everything slips into a different focus and a hundred, a thousand little things shift like a kaledeiscope ( while I am smart, I often am too lazy to spell lol)
There was a book I read once where the last sentence of the last paragraph literally shifted the entire framework of the story.
I recently had a real life moment like that.
First was the fact that severl places I go out dancing were completely dead, apparently because of Norwestcon. ?????? Kinda scary. That is the lead in. Place is dead and some friends are sitting in a weird place (as in, not the table they always sit at). In discussing how that can change your view of things, my one friend casually says,
"well yeah, we almost didn't sit here because it is the handjob corner"
What? when did that happen???? And I think maybe it's just her little joke, but nope, everyone confirmed it. Known. Fact. And here's me thinking, well damn does that change some of the things and interactions I have had in that area. Damn am I clueless sometimes.

Guess going out to dance as the focus predisposed me from thinking about fucking/picking people up.
Man I must've confused the fuck out of some of the women. That's what they get for thinking us men are easy. I mean, well, I am, but assuming that gets my dander up.
