Ugh, bad things keep happening to good people. I have to admit the frequency that this has happened over the last few weeks is pretty disconcerting.

*EDIT* I am fine, and everyone is, for the most part, fine. There has just been a rash of natural disasters, deaths in the family, job troubles, family troubles and other assorted badness plaguing those I care about lately. I seem strangely insulated from anything terrible happening directly to me. I feel like the Typhoid Mary of terrible luck at the moment. Thank you for all the well wishes.
