Wow, it has been a fucking crazy couple of weeks.

Comic Con was alright. I was frankly a little underwhelmed. This might be because of the expectations I have had due to other cons or all the hype that I heard from so many people. It was alright, and I got some decent books out of it, but it lacked a certain festiveness to the proceedings, which I found unfortunate.

We hit our milestone. All of my stuff was received decently well. Things are slightly less insane now, which is most appreciated.

Went home last weekend. It was nice seeing the family and a lot of my friends I don't get to see nearly enough. There is a small town hero complex that a lot of people I know seem to have for me that honestly makes me a little uncomfortable. I know I made it out, and I know I have a decent job which I enjoy (and frankly, many others wouldn't I'm sure, after a day or two) but these are the same people who I all too often saw giving me and my friends static back in the day. Saw some people I hadn't seen for years and hit it off again. Altogether a good, if rushed and sleep deprived, trip.

This week: Trying to sell my 89 suburban now that I have a decent motor vehicle, gaming at some point this weekend, typing, planning, working on the side project, making the world a better place (hopefully), cheese, hopefully swing dancing
