saw the lord of the rings last night, great movie.

got me thinking though. seems like nowadays hardly anyone really stands up for what is "just". kinda hard for me to explain here in words but i think that the world, in general, is heading in a bad direction. call me crazy, or a dork, or just another fucking whiner but the shit gets to me more and more with the more knowledge i gain (not that i gained knowledge from lotr, just generally).

how can we fuck nature and sustain life? how can we turn a blind eye to such massive inequalties?
