Have any of you read this book?:
He's Just Not That Into You
By Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo

From The Publisher:
He says:
Oh sure, they (men) say they're busy. They say that they didn't have even a moment in their insanely busy day to pick up the phone. It was just that crazy. All lies. With the advent of cell phones and speed...

Monday again. And the weather was SPECTACULAR today!!!! My favorite kind of day... biggrin love biggrin

SO... The food/roommate issue was resolved! Yippee!!! smile And I didn't even have to go to Costco! Nope, my roommate got up early on Saturday and went grocery shopping without me. His motives were not as noble as you might think (he had arranged a quick hook-up on his way), but nonetheless he...

The Tyler Davidson Fountain just became a holy place, all bow down!! Dish soap, that is something I wish I could have been there to see. In my best Yoda voice, "Impressed am I"

Kudos to you and keep on doing what you do.

Kisses and such,

Hades love

NadzOfSteel is just as hilarious as he is correct.

Also, I'll do my best to be as "chunky" as you apparently see me. wink

Still no food in the apt... It has become a BIG issue. It is Rob's turn. And yet somehow it has become MY fault.

Yes.
Even though *I* bought groceries the last two times (groceries for three at about $250.00 each time; my other roommate Troy pitched in both times), and the month before that did a huge Costco run, it is MY fault we...

I feel shallow today. Incapable of really processing anything too "deep". So I will only deal with silly, minor problems.

My favorite jeans ripped last night. Not in a cool place, either. frown Gotta love the internet though b/c I was able to find them online and order two more pairs! biggrin

I also found a great website for shoes and bags. I need a new pair...

It's good to be home!
Wyoming is the same as I remembered. My exbf's mom is not, however. She is getting quite frail. It seems impossible that she can survive many more WY winters, but she does not want to leave. I can't blame her, for the most part. It is almost obscene how beautiful the mountains are. The air is so pure it's actually...

So sorry to hear about Kev's dad...that's so sad. If you speak to him, let him know that if there is anything I can do to help out here, he should feel free to ask. I'll do whatever I can.

Aaaaahhhhhh.
I feel MUCH better today!
So I dragged my ass out last night to meet JohnnysAnAsshole, Champagneof Dudes, Luna, Coney Island's own DiamondDonnyV, and Birthday Boy legionnaire in the East Village to help the BB celebrate. biggrin The trip back to midtown was eerie. It was as if the thousands of cops, who just hours before had been omnipresent, had simply vanished...

I am so INCREDIBLY annoyed today.
I can't put my finger on why. I think it's the RNC bullshit. Most of my clients are out of town, my attorney is out of town, it seems like anyone I need to do business with has flown the coop. In place of all the midtown "regulars", I am surrounded by tens of thousands of cops, tightwad uptight...

Wednesday is hump day.
May you all get humped today!

September 1st. The end of summer. Time to put the white shoes away. Well you have until Monday actually. Don't be caught in them after Monday or you'll end up as a fashion don't.

I hate white shoes.

I love Autumn.

well, I try not to wear my cross dressing gear after labor day anyhow, too cold on the old boys, ya know? everything is gonna be satin & suede this year I hear, so fer sure Ill need to get rid of the ol' white bucks I was saving for the big Leave it to Beaver marathon...rats!

OK, I think Im in dire need of a drink & brain wont work until then.

Oh, but I do have a ? for you -- are you voting in OH w/ absentee ballot, or in NY?
ampersandwich:
Yes Ohio, swing state, that's why I ask

White bucks - I had them in high school...long story, but I went to a school for jr high & 2 yrs of high school where I had to wear tie & jacket each day. most kids wore the old standard blue blazer & red tie....So, the situation was very dorky, but I liked to be a bit of a standout & I played with the shit I could wear - super wide ties from the 60s & 70s, tacky jackets, late 70s wedding tux (not blue, I think it was maroon), and sometimes I goofed with the shoes, too - I never got the bowling shoes I wanted, but I did get bucks (white AND brown!)

smile

Im still a dork, what can I say?!

It's Sunday morning and I am coming down to the home stretch of my family visit. It has been a lovely visit, in spite of the antics of two anst-ridden adolescent boys who used to be my sweet little nephews... and the rantings of my very Republican father and his best friend. mad

You shoulda gone, regardless of days/$$ -- I still kick myself in the ass for skipping 2 weddings, one in Sweden on a steamship, the other in a castle in northern Italy. How stupid am I, right? smile

Does anyone else regress when you go home to your parents' house?
You would think that a woman in her 30's (i.e. ME!) would be secure and self-confident enough by now to be herself in just about any situation. But NO. the MINUTE I step through that door I become an adolescent all over again. Not just me, but my sisters, too. We instantly revert...

Well I failed to lose the 20 pounds before the wedding, but guess what, I had a great time ANYWAY!!!!! biggrin

Size 0....Ive never understood the whole women's size chart to begin with (why are men based on inches, you based on...who knows what!), but zero, is a non number. Its the absence of number, infact. Its not an integer, either. More importantly, glad the wedding was fun - they often suck, so good for you!

Doubley good for you about a solo shack in brooklyn! Solo is the way to go!

Oh, and you look dastardly unstopable in Skryche's shots!

Ps - I just read - are you organizing something for the Trash Can Sinatra show in NYC?????!! smile

It only sounds cute when YOU say it smile

Nope, not officially sgny, I think I got lost in the name tag shuffle..

I'm SO all over the TCS show if you're getting folks together - you can already count me in, it's on my calendar! Just hearing them in concert sorta reminds me of those WLIR Mega-Shows from the late 80s, like the New Order/PIL/Cure show, etc...I guess its just the randomness of this band...or my mind, or both...
