Ok .. a slightly less serious post today.

I've spent some time trying to figure out how I could get a better guitar sound recorded. So far I'm not getting anywhere .... I've tried going direct, both condensor and dynamic mics, and going line-in from my amp...

After all this, I've come to the conclusion that I HATE my amp. I've never been happy with it so this isn't a big surprise to me, but money trouble is upon me and I can't afford to buy anything. So for the time being I'm just going to have to live with the shitty sound I'm getting. Bloody Marshall ....

Would someone like to buy me a Mesa Boogie? Or a Diesel? I'm not fussy Maybe I'll put that on my "wishlist" ... *dream*

In the meantime I've downloaded the session files for NIN-only and will have a go at remixing that. I'm a little disappointed that they're not raw and have effects on them. That limits me a bit (but also makes things a bit easier in a way) I really like listening to the tracks individually. It's really cool hearing different parts by them selves.

Maybe I'll upload my remix when I'm done ..... (unless it turns out totally fucked).
