Also, special thanks go to the girl who stepped on my almost healed broken toe .... with a stilletto no less .....

Does you lappy have USB? My guitarist has also bought a FirePod, which means he's selling his Tascam USB interface. Good little unit - MIDI in/out and two channels of 48V mic input!

I'll ask him about it if you're interested. Likely to be cheap.
