Just got back from the dentist. All I have to say is OWWWW. I had my teeth cleaned and I think that was easily more painful than getting a tattoo, if anyone is looking for a pain comparison. And they wonder why people put off going to the dentist. 
Quite frankly, I'm surpised I still haven't got cavities or fillings. I've only been to the dentist 4 times in my life (the dentists aren't impressed with that .... believe me)

i sooo know what you mean about the dentist thing.. i dont like the cold air they blow on your teeth.. i find that more painful than anything..
and just the other night when i was lying on the floor in the throes of foodpoisioning/gastro pain (like you needed to know the details hehe) i had one lucid thought :
how can people say tattoos are painful? its not a agony kind of pain.. its completley different. GIve me tattoos ANYDAY
