I've been doing so much shopping lately. Music, books, magazines, gadgets. Lots of vinyl. And that new Stereolab box! Man! The videos in that are awesome. I just need to clear out the disaster area known as my 'apartment', and I'll be set... whatever

Latest music buys:

Well, I'm finally back on track with a rockin' job. I'm very fortunate to be a person who is a designer AND an in-depth Flash programmer (not to mention music and video producer, and all around problem solver), and to be the only one in South Carolina, apparently. I'm so easy-going right now, it's crazy.

I'm getting so bored with SG. Why the hell am I still a member?

I think I'm going to cancel my account soon, unless something magical happens... like SuicideCallGirls or something.

Har! Just kidding...

I got the new Monade lp yesterday, and have listened to it about 20 times over. In many respects, it's much better than Stereolab. Oooh la la, Laetitia Sadier is too hot...

Well, I managed to cull some footage from the Le Chevre show from some ancient-looking video. It's at least Velvet Underground quality. This isn't one of our singles, but a rather shoe-gazery song called 'Dead For Years'. It's one of my favorites, and it's sound quality bettered most of the other ones on this tape. Somebody else recorded the show, and I'll try to get...

Last night we played the Clemson rock show. I had a blast, and I was suprised to see that most people (about 50 -- apparently Clemson, while high in frisbee admiration, doesn't care much about live rock shows) turned out to see us, and they stood directly in front of the stage. So, now that that's out of the way, we can plan for our...

Apparently that sense is dead and gone.

Ah, I heard great things about the show! (I was working and couldn't get off, sorry to miss it!)

Melt The Guns - XTC

Programmes of violence,
As entertainment,
Brings the disease into your room.
We know the germ,
Which is man-made in metal,
Is really a key to your own tomb.

Prevention is better than cure,
Bad apples affecting the pure,
Youll gather your senses Im sure
Then agree to,

Melt the guns,
Melt the guns,
Melt the guns,
And never more to...

I'm getting all geared up for the Clemson radio concert on the 16th. Le Chevre, that's my band, and the suitcase is my instrument. Barksdale, vox, guitar. Shawn, guitar, vox. Jeff, the human LinnDrum.

My good friends Duane and Taylor are in a band called Widdershins; they'll be playing as well.

I pray that this gig will not be plagued by techincal problems, as a dirt...

So I'm working up at this fancy agency doing Flash programming. Big-time stuff, but I can handle it. I'm pleased with myself, having come from nothing, to this new point in my life.

Only problem, I gotta work in winblows. I'll miss my Os X. It's a fast machine, though.

Having been a member of SG for so long now, I get the feeling that some mainstay girls are fibbing about how old they are. I swear up and down that Olivia is my age, or so I remember. Al comes out with a set now, and she lists her age as 18. So she was 15 when she started?

I don't mind it, it's...
