Weekends suck when you have no friends. There aren't any movies out right now that I have to see and I don't like the beach on Sat or Sun (too many people). It's also very gloomy out, the second Chicago-like day I've seen since moving here.
The good news, my guitar got here today (M_A_Y sent it on Thursday). That's a very good thing. Maybe I can use the emotions I'm dealing with towards some artistic purpose. Maybe I'll just learn the new Death Cab album front to back and play it alone by candle light, weeping whilst I croon. That was supposed to be funny.
It's great when people request my friendship on the site. I see the little "friendship requests: 1" and I get all excited - who could it be? Did I say something nice about someone and they liked my profile? It sort of makes up for my friendlessness (I don't think that's a word, but you get the idea) in reality. In CA anyway.
