update on the girl: she is doing fine now. still a little congested, but she's eating a little more, and has had her sippy cup in her hands constantly.

on a diffrent note, two women have expressed intrest in me in the past two days. hmmm. yesterday i went over to an old friends house to play cards. i re-found her through myspace....imagine that. she and i were flirting via text messaging, while her friend/boyfriend(?) was sitting right next to us. we were talking about relationships and she says that he is just down on his luck, and that they are just friends. well, several beers into the night, after most of the crowd had gone. they were fighting about what a woman needs/wants from a relationship. odd. just odd. at one point she said that we should go out, on a date i'm assuming. this through one of her texts.

the second is a bit more odd. this one is younger that i, and she is the daughter of a friend that i also play cards with, but in another group. apparently she has told her father that she has had a crush on me since the first time she saw me. this was when i was married, and a year and change ago. this was jokingly told to me TODAY by her father at the flea market.....and the bad thing is that she was standing right next to him.

this has happened to me before. a female friend of mine that has known me for years, finally "hooks up" with me, and reveils that she has liked me for a while. am i blind to this kind of thing or something? i realize that i am not very forward ( tough to do when you're an introvert), but i must be completely oblivious to the "signs" of interest from the opposite gender. oh well, live and (try) to learn.
