So I'm on the hunt for the perfect vinyl record player.....My boyfriend has been wanting one for quite a long time AND xmas is coming up AND I will get to play my vinyls on it too 
A lot of the new ones I've looked at online are made to have the old school look to them and they can do about a million and one things but the reviews say that the actual record player does not sound that great. I'm worried about getting an older one cause I think it might shit out after just a few weeks. UGH!!!! I really want to find the perfect one but of course I do not have all that money to work with so this has turned into an insane hunt.
Anybody have any advice???

Outta curiosity, what brand and model did you buy? My mom has vinyls that she'd probably love to listen to again. Also, how'd the move go? I haven't caught up with you in a while.
