Today has mostly consisted of work and popcorn.

'cos we've got a 4 day weekend next week, I'm gonna go up to SF and hang out with my roommate and a few of his friends, which should be cool.

I'm reading the most recent Gibson novel, 'Pattern Recognition'. So far it's really good.

I have to work both days this weekend to get a demo done (the usual games dev shit), but they're giving us Thursday and Friday off next week in compensation. Now that's service. biggrin

I bought proper pedals and shoes with cleats for my bike. This allows me to go super-fucking-fast and then not be able to get my feet off the damn things. Which seems like a good idea.

So I went to the firing range with some guys from work. I've been in the US for 3 months, and I hadn't shot a gun yet wink

You give them your driving licence, They give you a bucket. with an automatic handgun (of your choice!) and 100 rounds of ammo in. There's something very wrong here.
