After a rather discouraging weekend in SLO, I logon to wizardworld to be depressed even more...
Michael turner has lost his battle with cancer. I read witchblade when he was the top cow (no pun intended, well, maybe :p) and have numerous books of his when he was with marvel and dc. I loved his covers for identity crisis, and his work with batman/superman. I met him on two seperate occasions in san diego at the con. Both times I met him he was in the midst of his bout, and was incredibly jovial, and very humble.. he was only 37. Pickup Uncanny X-Men #500, it'll be his last cover ever.
The world lost another guddun'.
RIP MT
