Got to work today and my boss called saying he was on his way to San Jose. My other boss left for Barcelona. It's just me for the rest of the week holding down the fort.
Last thing my boss said to me was "you're in charge, crank up the tunes and party." I felt that those were pretty wise words. I will embrace them-- in a respectable manner.
In other news, my girlfriends kind of nutty mother brought home a new dog because she missed our old one too much. It broke one of my flasks > = [ The old one (Molly was her name) just died on Sunday. My girlfriend woke up to it screaming at around 3 am. By the time we got outside everything was silent. Some larger animal had lured and made her into a late night snack. Quite a unfortunate experience.
