Microsoft Pleads with Customers Not To Wait to Buy Vista
I found this story very entertaining. Microsoft has now launched a "fact rich program" to give users reasons why they should proceed with confidence and buy windows vista right now instead of waiting for major flaw fixes that were known prior to release but because of marketing and more delays went ahead and launched with. Doesn't this seem to happen with every release of Windows. They did it with Windows XP, and hell, Windows 98 had so many problems they thought it was a good idea to actually sell a "Secound Edition" with major bug fixes, and that time you had to PAY for the fixes that shouldn't have exsisted in the first place. Oh and just to go back a little further, there were also two versions of Windows 95 released, a "A" and "B" version. Well looking over that track record for the past 12 years, I'd say that you guys should absolutely proceed with confidence. Lets just overlook the past, it's a bright new future! Well... until the next release.
