As improbable and difficult as it would be, what with its requiring someone, most likely myself, to move to a different country, I want to be with him again.

I told my mom about leaving school, looking for an office job, and getting TESOL certified. She was supportive. I was kind of surprised.

I'm going to get TESOL certified. I think it will be OK for me to do the course online, since I already have so much teaching experience. With the certification, there are more jobs I'll be qualified for in New York, and I'll have the option of going abroad. To Japan?

Pretty freaked out about the quake in Japan. One of my friends doesn't know yet whether she lost her house, but as far as I know my Japanese friends and their families are all safe.

I feel bad about asking people to leave me alone, but, seriously, there are times I want to be left alone. There's nothing unhealthy about it. Time to oneself, time spent doing fuck all, time spent away from other people and their problems, is important.

While I'm enjoying talking to my ex again, I'm reminded of why we didn't work out as a couple.

But damn, he's good looking.

But the guy I've been seeing lately is much better for me.
