Hello everybody! My account just became active yesterday and I am so excited to be here! For my first blog I thought I would let you all get to know me a bit. I would like to start with what brought me here to Suicide Girls. Now, I've never been much of a writer, I am actually a bit embarrassed by my writing, so bare with me! (Writer friends, send me your tips!)
Anyhow, I learned about Suicide Girls about 3 years ago and I immediately became a fan! I have always had an outgoing personality so I love everything out there and weird. I admired the Suicide Girls. Their unique, crazy, weird (I use that term lovingly), different, and out there personalities are what I believe makes our world wonderful and fun to live in.
The more I I got into Suicide Girls the more I started learning that these girls are more than super sexy and adorable pinup models. These girls are activists, sisters, mothers, and through Suicide Girls they support and celebrate one another. How amazing! I wanted to be a part of it.
My best friend convinced me to give it a shot. She led me to Groupon where there's always lots of deals for boudoir style photo shoots. I did my first one in mid 2013 with Tamara Murphy in Denver. That's also about the time I first applied to be a Suicide Girl. That first shoot gave me the confidence I needed to get myself going!
I was accepted as a hopeful about a year later with help from @vorpal. I was so excited! I wanted to jump right in. As soon as I heard Alissa Brunelli was coming to Colorado I booked a shoot with her. That shoot was on April 21st of this year. That set "Sweater Weather" should be in member review in a few months. Oh, and if you have a chance to shoot with Alissa, take it! She gave me plenty of pointers and made me feel great about myself. It feels so good having all this support.
Now that brings me to where I am at today! I do plan on doing lots of more shoots (hopefully one with @sunshine in July!) I hope I'll get to do some creative stuff and work with fun people. I'm also looking forward to getting to know everyone here!!
Now of course I'm into other things. I'm run, a lot. I like to hoop dance and I enjoy craft beer a lot! But that will be for another post.
