WOOOO-HOOOOO!!!
Guess what was just delivered to my room, you're never gonna guess, go on, guess...guess.. A FRUIT (and more) BASKET!!!! I am doing a spiritual happy-dance!! I held the basket close and such wonderful smells danced over me, nutty, chocholatty, sugary, yummy yummy yummy! Thank you all for the kind wished and a definite great big hug to you amazingly beautify person. there are people in this world that it is comforting to just sit back, take a deep breath, and smile just cause they are.
And, after 9 days on just water, I took a tiny sip of apple juice, and my mouth had a new york sized explosion of flavor. I think I should do this more often, restrict to ice water and tofu, and then have a flavor party, its amazing what you just get used to. I bet even vegetables would be deliscious right now!
The doctor stopped in and thinks I might get to go home in 2 days or so. I will try to see if someone has a digital camera I can use to take some pics of the goodies basket.

How long are you going to be laid up? Are you going to be ambulatory after this or are you going to be bedridden for a while during the healing? That sound like such a painful injury. Are you allowed to laugh or will that blow some stitches? I don't want to be saying anything funny and send you back to the hospital.
