We have been given what is an outline for next season and I feel I do not have a clear outline for what I will be doing. This makes it hard to plan in advance anything. it is pretty frustrating.
When I started (in 1989) I had a clearly defined role as a tour stage Carpenter... now I do all the touring prep (pre-rigging, lights sound, props ASMing) and I am not paid anymore.
I use to love that job so much
