I couldn't take the wait tonight and decided to go to bed, fairly convinced that Mitt Romney was going to win, which would have been a bad return to 2000-2008. I am so glad to have been wrong. I am hopeful the re-election of Obama will allow him to not worry about having to be re-elected and he really tries to deliver on some of the things he wanted to get through. I am still convinced many of the people who voted for Romney/Ryan did so more out of dislike for Obama than support for Romney/Ryan. To have elected them would have not been in the vast majority of the country's best interests. I am just relieved and happy that common sense prevailed, despite the closeness of the results. Let's support our President instead of spending the next four years attacking him (like some of the media have been doing since 2008).
