I just started re-re-reading the book "aboot" Motlry Crue entitled "The Dirt". Man do I loves this book! It may be the best book ever, certainly the best "rock" book. It has lots of insight into stuff. Man, I wish I lived on the Strip in 1983, out of my mind and up to my gills on coke playing rock and roll. I am a pretty square guy, violent alcoholism excepted, and yet I am fascinated by drug-fueled mayhem (which is the one word emblazoned on Crue Drummer Tommy Lee's abdomen).
I needed to be born fifteen years earlier and out in LA. To me, "wild" is speeding up through a yellow traffic light. I have never been declared dead from H and left in a Japanese dumpster.
