There are great doodles and photos in this entry. Check the bottom of the entry for an update on the health concern from last update (things are looking up).
Now, you're in for a treat, I've got some awesome old doodles I did several years ago, and some fun old photos I found (read: HILARIOUS CAT PHOTOS). There are lots more doodles and photos and things to come in the next few weeks, I've unearthed a freakin' treasure trove.
First, the doodles. No commentary necessary, really.
Next, photos.
I wanted to take a mirror photo, but it didn't quite turn out like I had planned. That's a disposable camera, and that's a Game Boy Advance scrabble game on my computer.
I think this was taken right after Shadow got fixed because his little arm (I call his front legs arms because they're arms damn it) is shaved. He looks so young here - I guess only a year old. He's about 4 now.
Guess he was sleepy after coming back from the vet.
The following is a showcase of Sabrina's fascination with getting into enclosed spaces. Boxes. I call her a "boxy lady" in fact. Many of these photos were taken when we were packing up to move to the place where we're currently living.
Thoughts from today (yesterday really):
1) I think my CD drive is on the blink. Whenever I try to rip CDs these days, many times the mp3 from the last track or two does this thing where it'll buzz and skip, and sometimes just go completely silent. When I go back and listen to that part of the mp3 again, it does the same thing in the same places. Ripping CDs doesn't ALWAYS do this, clearly, as I listened to Fumbling Towards Ecstasy straight through and it was fine, and I ripped that only last week or so (and had had problems before then). Could be that the discs are dirty. But I just bought Finisterre and I cannot get the last track (the title track) to rip properly. How can it be dirty if it's brand new? Any advice for getting them clean?
But my CD drive is pretty old. Maybe it's time to shell out the $$$ for a new one. Can you recommend a good (inexpensive) brand/model? Or do you know a way to fix this problem? Hell, I can't even listen to CDs on my computer at all, they totally skip and lag. I think that's a memory issue though. mp3s play fine, except the faulty ones mentioned above. I mean, my computer is old itself, but I ain't replacin' this baby any time soon. I love my computer
2) My lyrics archive page hasn't been indexed by google yet *taps foot*
3) At one point yesterday my host wouldn't let me upload files because it said my disk was full, which it wasn't. To be safe I downloaded the entire contents of my public_html folder and there's only 50 MEGS worth of files in there. 50 MEGS people. I have at least 5 GIGS of space available. Maybe even 10, I forget which tier of service I paid for.
In my extreme frustration I went in and manually renewed my account, because this happened before and I assumed it was due to my having to cancel my old credit card and get a new one, and thus they couldn't bill me. But I think I overreacted and it was just a blip on their end. Now I'm $100 poorer than before, I paid for a year's worth of Tier II service in my exasperation
I can't let myself panic when that happens. It's just that they're so reliable that I assumed it was an account problem. Groan.
BUT! In checking my host's site to see if I can check the status of my account (i.e. see what services I'm signed up for after my panicked renewal) I've discovered I can do SUBDOMAINS! I'm dumb for not knowing that already. I just never looked into it and didn't know how it was done. Now you can visit such locations as annie.thonky.com, motorcrash.thonky.com, and viridian.thonky.com. That is too cool.

Blue is defeinitly a good color for you but don't count out green. my fav pic of you in the green t-shirt is awesome. and your eyes came out perfect in that photos i think the green complments them as well or better
i have not played with hidowmload yet maybe in the next couple of days. im also going to see how well i do at transfering vcr tapes onto the puter in the next couple days as well. I can forsee lots of frustration ahead. LOL!!!
great drawings im not very good at doodleing so i appreciate good one
your music issue sounds more like a software problem than hardware. those things have happened to me in the past and as soon as i used a different proggy it worked fine.

i have watched your motorcrash video 4 times now and laugh out loud everytime. I love it. i used to be really nuts over the sugarcubes too but it faded away for some reason. not sure why
