Before I start: jonnytrrrash7 asked me what my SG name means. Well, CruxPlusOne is based on Annie's song "Me Plus One" (the lyrics of which appear in part in my profile over there <-- [vices, crush, into]) and the "Crux" part comes from a couple of usernames ago, "FlushCrux".
THAT is a play on words meaning Flux Crush, to commemorate the huge crush I had on Flux when I first joined (which has since developed into something far less intense and much more reasonable).
But see, with "FlushCrux" people kept calling me "Flush" for short and I got sick of it. I wanted to keep the "Crux" part though because it's a cool word and it would help people find me again after name changes, so I became CruxbaseAlpha, after Saint Etienne's debut album Foxbase Alpha.
And now, after getting sick of that one, and wanting to show my love for Annie, I am now CruxPlusOne. THERE YOU HAVE IT
As for me, I am exhausted. I promise I will respond to your comments tomorrow, but for now, have a look at the fruit of my labor (a couple hours worth of labor at least):
The Annie Lyrics Archive
Any of you who has her album needs to help me figure out the parts where I have the question marks (pleeeease?) Redbeard3 suggested I take the tracks and slow them down to hear them better but that just creeps me out so I'm not sure I'll try that. Don't DJs have a way to slow a track down but keep it the same pitch? jonnytrrrash7 maybe you can answer that. That's what I need. That wouldn't creep me out.
Anyway now I'm tired and have a headache and am all tense and feel dehydrated from sitting here staring at the screen for hours, listening to Annie's album pausing it after every line or so and struggling to understand some of the less enunciated lyrics (she sings pretty clearly most of the time, if she didn't I'd have given up long ago. Her accent is not hard to understand. It's cute and I love it, and I love her. Gross.)
I think I did a pretty good job with the lyrics so far. Annie would be proud (or so I'd like to think). Shell just HAVE to invite me over for tea and cake now BAHAHAHAHAHA ahem.
I am aware the page needs a design, but you have to understand it took enough hours just to transcribe the lyrics. Im saving a nice design for another night. I have an idea for something nice and basic. (Pretty much all my sites are basic. Im not exactly a design person though I can make things relatively user-friendly and not TOO ugly. Mostly.)
Anyway once its more ready for the world to see, Ill add the meta tags that will get it looked at by search engines (a bunch of sections of my site thonky.com are indexed by Google already), and THEN I will announce it on Annies official forum, even though those people are scary. Annie wont see it because she doesnt check the forum section, just the Ask Annie section (she didnt answer my last question, it looks like she was busy because she only answered the question at the very top this time).
As it is now, there are no Annie lyrics sites, or so it appears. I cant find any on Google and only a few songs are up on those God-awful pop-up-ad-ful mega lyrics sites. Who knows, my little site may blow up and become the most popular section of thonky.com. The top section now is my Viridian Room walkthrough. Its like the second most popular result on Google for that keyword search.
Brag, brag, brag. Someone shut me up.
Oh and I just found this rad site for generating a mini icon that goes with your page (a.k.a. the favicon), FOR FREE. The best tools are always free. So now Ive got a cute little Annie icon for the front page of the lyrics archive. Can you tell I am obsessed with that picture yes you can. Youll be seeing even more of it once I give the archive a design. Oh bother.

As a postscript: the friend who first introduced me to Annie (whom you might now want to harm for starting my annoying obsession) sent me a picture last month of Annie together with St. Etienne (they performed together in London last month. He was there, and ANNIE SAT RIGHT BEHIND HIM AND HIS FRIENDS AFTER HER SET
But he didn't take the picture. At least I dont THINK he did 
Jealousy anyone?) In said picture, Annie has a drink in her hand. Like, a serious drink. And they all look TRASHED. It's great. Actually to be honest I can hardly look at it because I am more than slightly horrified by the spectacle (especially Pete, God he looks near death). I dont feel right about posting it here because my friend did send it to me privately. I might, MAYBE, let you see it if you ask politely. But dont count on it
