Anyway, yeah. I watched music videos ALL AFTERNOON. It was freakin' awesome.
Sarah Cracknell (of Saint Etienne) is so hot and lovely and has amazing fashion sense. She looks like this (they are named after a soccer/football team but she is really a singer). I really really wish the video collection DVD wasn't a region 2, otherwise I'd be able to take screencaps from it on mom's computer. Oh well
But I WAS able to take some screencaps of Sophie
SPEAKING OF AMUSEMENT PARK RIDES I'm going to meet up with a BUNCH of SGVA people this Saturday for a Kings Dominion trip. It's going to be CRAZY. I've mentioned this before but I'm so excited I had to mention it again.
Annie, the artist who does the song I'm FORCING you to listen to, not only makes awesome music but is a great dancer AND a lady DJ as well. I am so in love with this little Norwegian lady. She will be coming to NYC later this month but I don't know where to buy tickets
I want to see her spin her discs and gyrate her hips damn it!
If I'm really really lucky and Saint Etienne's album does sorta okay in the states (I have plenty of doubts but I'm going to hope), maybe they'll come over here WITH Annie and I can get to see them BOTH
Rest assured, once the album is released here I'm going to try to force everyone to buy at least two copies each. Just so you know.
I am DYING to hear the new album and I may just cave in and download it, but I'm definitely buying it the legal way as well (multiple times).
I will be spending a good portion of tomorrow taking MORE Sophie screencaps, so be prepared.
Music is fun
I guess I just want to know my books are being read, and the only way I can (sort of) do that is giving them out myself. (Though I still have all the distribution bags to use!)
