edit: I am the QUEEN of bad impressions. More on that later.

My last emo entry was a couple lines from Sarah McLachlan's song "Trust" from her debut album back in 88/89 called Touch.
I like that album up to "Vox", pretty much. "Vox" is such a late-80s/early-90s song and I love it. I think her true classic is Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, with such classics as "Ice Cream" ("your love is better than ice cream") and "Possession", a song written from the perspective of a stalker. Everything after and including Surfacing I'm not crazy about, but "Black and White" is a good song from that album. She's all about boring emo piano ballads now. I liked her better when she still had more of a pop sound.
Two thoughts:
1. I have a lot of respect for strippers and I think it's one of the awesomest jobs ever.*
2. I have a lot of respect for Stormy and I think scrilla is one of the awesomest words ever.
* I'd never be a stripper so don't hold your breath.
I feel so gross if I touch anything between the time I pee and the time I wash my hands. I think, "oh God, I'm befouling my cat with my yellow, dripping, urine-soaked, disgusting hands!" Jesus, it's not like I piss all over myself.
So it turns out that it is not Cthulhu who is haunting my dreams, it is in fact Al. I mentioned in an earlier entry that after reading her personality meme result, I dreamt about browsing the site and reading her posts (I think I saw her profile pic in the dream and everything).
Well, this morning I had a dream inspired by her journal entry about getting bored and sticking needles in her face (the pictures are a must-see). She mentioned that after taking one of the needles out of her eyebrow it bled all over the place.
This morning I had a vivid dream in which my eyebrow was bleeding and dripping down my face and nose and all over my pillow. wtf?? Will disturbing Al dreams drive me insane and make me create a bunch of Al fan art? TIME WILL TELL
So I'm starting to get sick of my dorky screen name here on SG. I think ScreamingManiacalLaughter would be an awesome screen name. Way too long though. The best I could do would be ScreamingManiac and that doesn't describe me at all. Or ManiacalLaughter but the "screaming" part is important to me. I could do ScrmngMnclLghtr but nobody would understand it. Screaming Manacle Lighter? Huh? I dunno maybe that would be funny.
But I don't want to confuse people AGAIN by changing my screen name. So I will probably stick with ol' FlushCrux for a while. Gah. It's driving me batty.
I was also considering "Fractious" for a second as a vague homage to Fractal. CruxFace would sound pretty cool. Or CruxFase. CruxPhace. Cruxapace. Cruxish. CruxAGoGo. CruxMarksTheSpot. CapnCrux. Vote4Cruxy. EatMyCrux. Cruxofabulous. DoctorCruxer. Similarly BeverlyCruxer. BevNWesCruxer. IveGotACruxOnYou. DontMakeMeCruxYou. NewCruxico. CruxbaseAlpha. Wow that's a good one. Maybe that's what I'll go with. In the meantime you can tell me which of these you like.

that would make an EXCELLENT t-shirt!
i say that about a lot of stuff, but am always too lazy to execute.
Note: When I first met my best friend, he *hatred* me. For about a year. My best friend before that hated me when we first met. I've been told I make horrible first impressions but wonderful follow ups.
