I just got back from the beach! I left Friday afternoon (missed class and a quiz that morning blackeyed ) and we just got back (Sunday afternoon). I got a ton of stuff for my girlfriend MollyMolly. blush I got to play my grabby claw game and won a little toy that will also go to Molly. smile I love the grabby claw games. The key is to look for a toy that looks grabbable; something that isn't so tightly jammed in there as to be impossible to pull free. After that, it just takes persistence. I think it took me five tries to win this time. Is it just easy, or am I good at it? Good spatial reasoning, maybe?

Before we got home, we were passing a shopping mall that has a wonderful all-vegetarian Indian restaurant called Madras Palace, and I asked mom if we could stop there. It was dee-licious. They serve this crispy, flat, chip-like bread that has a wonderful salty taste as a side dish. I don't know what it's called but I love it. I got the Malai Kofta, which is fried balls of dough/veggies in a delicious creamy sauce. We also got Poori, which is puffy fried bread. They looked like little fried balloons or pillows. biggrin

I saw bits and pieces of Victor Victoria last night. What a great movie. I really really really love Julie Andrews, and the themes of gay tolerance made me happy. Did I mention that the beach I went to has a pretty big gay community? (Did I mention that I'm gay? Haha. biggrin ) So with my starting to become more comfortable with my identity and the whole atmosphere of gay pride at the beach, it was a great movie to see. Mom and I want to rent it so we can see the whole thing.

Speaking of gay pride, my family saw a great bumper sticker there: "I don't mind straight people, as long as they act gay in public." wink biggrin
