Today and yesterday I got out of bed in the MORNING (yesterday 9, today 6) as opposed to late in the afternoon (past 1pm) like I've been. I don't know about today, but yesterday I felt much more happy and energetic than I have been lately. This needs to be a trend, because I'll be starting school on the 17th. Class begins at 9:30 every morning, and it takes at least two hours to get there by bus, so I'll probably have to get up at least by 6. Maybe I can do a "dry run" on Thursday and get a new ID card while I'm at it. I would take the subway, but it's super-expensive. (They've been talking about creating a new Purple Line that cuts straight across to where I need to be, and that would be cheaper, but it doesn't exist yet. )

I have to take mom to my aunt's house this Friday; she's driving up to the beach with them, leaving me behind to start school. I do get to meet up with them after class on the 21st, but I have to drive there and it takes three hours. And then mom and I will drive back home on Sunday, so I only get a weekend at the beach. Better than nothing, I suppose.

I'm sad that they took away the little pop-up window that showed up when you hovered over someone's alias or profile picture. Really! It worked fine if the cursor wasn't over the pop-up when it appeared! It seemed to me that it would be easy to fix, but nobody listened to me when I posted the nature of the problem on the boards. I would have liked to be able to bookmark or ignore people from one of their comments, and not by having to go to their profile. Oh well!
