Go congratulate Eddie on going live! She's been waiting since last March! Or was it May?
Either way, a really long time!
Oh goodness. I am addicted to these things now. I just stuffed myself full of them until I felt a bit ill, and promptly ate more once the feeling passed. Phosphorolicious!
I have to say, I am a bit weirded out by the new "celeb" section for news stories here on SG. It makes me think of those soap opera digest magazines I see in the grocery store. Enough already!
The people they show on the covers of those soap opera rags don't even look real. Like dolls, or automatous cyborgs!
What really bugs me with those soap opera "actors" are the guys with the "rugged" stubble. Puh-LEEZ!
It doesn't even look real! Maybe they're iron filings, and the actors are, in fact, robots with polarized magnetic jaws.
I recently rented the DVD of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Not too impressed, I have to say, especially with the extreme brevity of the Quidditch World Cup sequence. I think a non-fan would be utterly confused by that part. It's like they had to throw that in to introduce a few characters, and I guess also for the spectacle of the thing, but it was so ridiculously short that it was a bit jarring. Oh, and yeah, I guess they had to show the Death Eaters' rampage in the campgrounds, and the "mysterious figure" sending up the Dark Mark. I know there were time constraints and everything, but I think they could have done a little better. (Easy for me to say.
)
I was also disappointed in their treatment of Dumbledore. I've always thought of him as totally unflappable; always quite calm. In the film he was shown storming about, yelling, and looking fraught. No!
I was quite excited the other day when I discovered an improved strategy for a challenge in The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, but it would take several paragraphs of explaining, and I doubt anyone cares, so I will spare you. For those of you who have played the game, I found out that it isn't as hard to take a picture of the orange Wizzrobe in the Wind Temple as one might first think. It is much easier if you kill the black Wizzrobe and leave the Darknut intact.
My cat has been sneezing.
Her nose looks a bit red (normally pink) and she feels a bit warm, so I will probably have to take her to the vet soon. She is rather underweight from my having tried to reduce her obesity and doing a little too well
, so I'm kind of worried that the vet will remonstrate me for under-feeding my kitty.
I've doubled the amount of food I give her each day, so hopefully she will put on some weight and return to a healthy size. I knew something was off when I picked her up a few weeks ago and she felt light as a feather.
She never once complained with the smaller amount of food, so I had no idea there was a problem!
She'll be ok, though. She seems happy and healthy. Well, except for the sneezing.

I was just saying a bunch of nonsense about liking old Mario on Nintendo, and I used to watch General Hospital on n off for years.
Harry Potter movies continue to just...exist. I have no strong feelings about any of them, except the third one for the cool werewolf.
