So romantic...
Screen captures from the Sound of Music DVD MollyMolly got me from my Amazon.com wish list.

Here is an amazing deep-sea crab whose discovery was announced a few days ago:
Kiwa Hirsuta
It has no pigmentation and is thought to be blind. It lives around the hydrothermal vents deep on the floor of the South Pacific Ocean.

I'm in the process of re-ripping all of my CDs with iTunes, to the more compressed yet higher quality AAC format. For a long time I was using Winamp, but iTunes has a ton of nice features that Winamp doesn't. I've even bought some music from the iTunes store! *GASP*
It's making me want an iPod! *DOUBLE GASP* I won't buy one, though; too expensive. I don't expect anyone to get one for me, either, since they're so pricey. But, as Molly says, prices do come down. We'll see.
Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with string
These are a few of my favorite things...

Nice to see you getting into iTunes. When I switched to a Mac two years ago, I also made the move from WinAmp to iTunes and haven't looked back. As for an iPod... well, not counting the secondary market (which is huge!), there are iPods ranging from sub $100 to $600.
But here's the secret... you don't actually need the big ones. I have both a 4GB Nano and a 4th Gen 20GB iPod, and I end up using the Nano most of the time. Why? Because for the most part, I don't need weeks of music with me. One week straight of music is plenty.
As for The Sound of Music, I always liked that movie. Not sure why, and admitting it probably reduces my Guy Cred™, but hey. I even have that DVD!
