I blush really easily.
"At the drop of a hat", as they say. I'm not sure if my face actually gets beet red and all that; I think people have commented on that in the past.
Actually, when I was taking step aerobics at my university (shut up!
) my face got SO red every single time, so much so that the instructor told me when the semester was over that she would always remember me as the "red-faced girl".
Which reminds me of when I took karate a long time ago. I achieved a green belt (tested and passed twice), and was in the absolute best physical shape I've ever been (and, possibly, will ever be). My middle school had a mile-long "Fun Run" (yeah, really fun
) and I would always clock in at about 13 minutes.
That went down to about 9 when I was at my peak with the karate.
Ultimately, I got too freaked out when people started hitting me, so I quit, descending into not-so-great physical shape once more. I guess if I did intense exercises like the ones we always warmed up with during karate class, I would be able to achieve prime fitness again. I have absolutely no interest in that, so I guess I'll have to continue to lack muscle tone and endurance. Fine with me.
It might be nice to go on long walks, though, at least. I'm not quite sure where I would go on such ambulatory excursions, given that I live in the suburbs and there's not much around, but I think I would enjoy it wherever I would end up going.
It was nice out yesterday, and I toyed with the idea of buying a bunch of D-cell batteries and taking my portable turntable to the park and listening to records. I got too self-conscious to go through with it.
Maybe I will some day...
I'm thinking of buying a new computer. MollyMolly has recommended the Mac mini, which is really very affordable (not to mention super-tiny). I've never had a Mac, and I should perhaps weigh the pros and cons of switching to a Mac and no longer using a Windows machine.
I'm tired and getting a headache trying to think of more to say on the subject of computers, so I shall end here. Good day.
