You people are COOL for reading all the way through the dream part of my last entry! That was like four pages in MS Word! You rock!!
Wow guess what?? They're releasing Tales of Phantasia for GBA on March 6th! The original Tales of Phantasia was released only in Japan for the Super Famicom. You can download the Japanese-language ROM to play the game on an SNES emulator, and there is an unofficial English-language patch by DeJap that you can use to play the game in English. I love that game, and wrote a walkthrough for it.
The game has been changed somewhat in this new version, with completely new sprites (and I kind of prefer the old ones, but oh well. Maybe I'd get used to it.) The dialogue, of course, is different from the unofficial patch (and the naughty stuff in the fan translation is certainly gone. I'm not even sure the actual original Japanese game had all that stuff). In the blurb about it on Nintendo.com, it said something about only being able to fight with two other teammates, where in the original you could fight with three, but I think that may have been an error.
I definitely want to get it when it comes out, but it looks to be around $30, and given the pay cut I took at work (without being told about it
), I can't really afford to spend money on anything but the essentials. I'll get it someday, though. It's not a priority or anything. (I just put it, and a bunch of other goodies on my Amazon wishlist. Buy buy buy!
)
I had more dreams last night that I remember. The details are too hazy for me to describe much of what happened in them, but I know that Harry Potter was in part of it (well, the actor who plays him in the movies), and MollyMolly was there briefly, playing with one of those robotic Aibo puppies (possibly because we were talking about The Sims last night, and I also remember her mentioning recently that she has Nintendogs as well).
At Molly's urging, I've started taking Zyprexa again. It's an antipsychotic, and when my psychiatrist tried to switch me to it a couple of years ago, I had such a dramatic increase in appetite that I gained 20lbs. More recently, I experienced a major loss of appetite around July last year (due to some majorly upsetting events), and my psychiatrist put me back on the Zyprexa at a smaller dose in the hopes of boosting my appetite enough that I'd get back up to a healthy weight (I dropped down to like 104 around the end of September).
Since I can't really afford the Zyprexa, I stopped taking it after a while. My appetite went back down somewhat, and I'm at about 110lbs now, where I had been hovering around 120-125 before the loss of appetite.
So, with Molly's help, I am taking the Zyprexa again. I'm only taking half a pill every other day; hopefully that will be enough. I think I am noticing an increase in appetite; I started craving food a little before lunch time today, and was actually motivated enough to make some soup out of egg noodles and my vegetarian bouillon. It was yummy.
OH GOODNESS, I have to say, that switching bodies dream with Annie...
I feel so lucky to be able to have such awesome dreams. And with such detail! And I didn't lose the thread of the dream, either! I was able to keep it going and perform as Annie!
All I can say is:
