I wanted to let everyone know that bear will be leaving us today.

I know that many of you cared very much for him, he has been a part of my life for 12 years. He was tough to handle the last few months and it is selfish to keep him on the medications now. He let us know yesterday that it is time.

Ive never had to let go of something so personal, someone so close to me.

If Bear touched your life in anyway, or you too loved him like we did please leave your respects.

I'm so sorry about Bear. Saying goodbye to a furry Loved One is . . . well, I'm a little choked up and never even met Bear. I used to run the main kennel at my local Humane Society (although my first experience with working with animals was in the shelter in Voorhees Township, NJ when I was 8) and when peole brought in pets for us to "put down" it never got easy. Then, as I was certified for "euthanasia" I when my dog, Belle, was struck with sudden acute kidney failure, I had to do it myself. Years ago, but I still miss her so. Sounds like you're doing the right thing here. And Bear probably knows all you do you do for Love.
