I don't know what happened, and I can't claim that anything I say will help... but I sort of understand.
Self improvement is something we should all strive for at all times. Nobody can ever be perfect but we can always learn to appreciate our strengths and overcome our weaknesses(or at least cope with them). That's a very important belief of mine.
On the other hand... sometimes bad things just happen. Whether it's a car accident or a failing relationship, it can't always be avoided no matter how "better" you are than you once were.
As for being frozen in time, I've been frozen for 8 years and only recently learned how to thaw myself out. I'm still working on that!
