Wow...finally able to catch my breath in the middle of the semester. This schedule was killing the fuck out of me, but I think I'm finally adapting. Just in time to nearly double the number of credits I'm taking so I'm not in school for the rest of my life. The amounts of abuse the mind and body can endure never cease to amaze. Taking next week off from work so I can check out as much of the conference on world affairs as I can. Good brain candy.

I actually just got back from a lecture given by Jane Goodall (amazing!) and she was talking about how her research was used to hypothesize about early human behavior and such. Apparently chimpanzees exhibit a lot of the same non verbal communications (patting on the back, kissing, shaking fist in anger, tickling for pleasure) that humans do, and they are used to convey the same meaning. I didnt know any of this, and I found it fascinating.
