I get a call early this morning. It's my friend Clint's dad. I haven't heard from Clint since my birthday a few weeks ago. I wonder what his dad could want. He tells me... Clint passed away on the 11th. That's one day after my birthday. They found him laying on the couch dead. They think he had AIDS. Wretched horrible disease! He had internal bleeding and stuff. He seemed fine when I saw him last. He used to be my roommate here in FL before he moved back up to Ohio. I didn't know he was sick at all. His dad doesn't know any of his friends, so I am up all day calling people to tell them the bad news. Makes me feel like the grim reaper.
November is a horrible month for accidents and things for me. It's always just a few days shy of my birthday that things go wrong. Last year on the 6th my friend James killed himself. I get this call the day before my birthday that he built this huge bon fire and drenched himself with gasoline and jumped in.
It must be something about the holidays thats too depressing for people or something. I guess I should feel much more lucky to have family that I get a long with and love. It makes the holiday a happy place for me.
I'm sorry if I bummed you all out. I hope your all having a wonderful day. I have to work today so I have to go and get showered and stuff.

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend. One of my best old friends was found dead in his apartment, back in November. My friend had been an alchoholic and a heavy smoker . . . eventually, his body just gave up . . . his organs failed, and he got lung cancer. Its hard to lose friends. All you can do, is remember the good things, and keep them in you heart for always. My thoughts are with you.
