"Yond Cassius has a lean and hungry look,
He thinks too much; such men are dangerous."
Shakespeare--From Julius Caesar
Its been a long week. Im ready for the weekend.
Ive been reading Shakespeare, hence the quotes all week. I need to pick up a book, Ive been reading plays online and after awhile I get a headache. It doesnt help that my chair isnt the best thing to sit on for long periods of time.
Ive gotten almost nothing done this week I have wanted to do. Im going to try and get some pics up tomorrow or Saturday, but I make no promises. I havent changed my mind about posting them, I just havent had had time to work on them.
The last 2 days at work have been tedious. I miss having NineDayJane around to screw off with.
Im tired. Not so much sleepy tired, more like worn down by whats been going on in my life tired.
Go give Bathory some love. She needs our support and kind thoughts.

Not my favorite Shakespeare, but a good one none the less.
"Impatient of my absence, and grief that young Octavius with Mark Antony have made themselves so strong- for with her death that tidings came. With this she fell distract, And (her attendents absent) swallow'd fire."
Brutus, Act IV, Scene II.
That was my favorite part when I read it back in high school. See now, you did something good for me and made me pull out my Shakespeare tome. Good for you!
Read Titus Andronicus and the Tempest. Those were his best plays IMO.

Here's a question. You say "art at its best makes you feel." Watching someone being killed...literally, not in special-effects...would make me feel something. Sorrow, anguish, disgust, etc. Is that art, then?
Do you think that the richly pampered Pope and a sickly orphan who has never been to a church but who prays by his bedside every night are doing different things? Are the practices of one of them "religion" and the other not? Is it still religion if it is not organized religion? And what about religions which do not include a god figure, but which are still considered to be religions? How do they fit into the definition of "religion?"
