i feel like blogging as i am bored!
hmmmm,
some good things to begin methinks:
bought a cheapish k3 Suzuki Bandit, 15700 miles on the clock......some history...but the best part is the major 14k service had been done, meaning i don't have to fork out for it, yay! with insurance AFC 50 and some oil/petrol, i should have it on the road for under 2 grand, and it should be a solid Winter bike
after the school holidays here in the UK are over, my gym is being converted into a full time MMA/PL gym.....in the words of Team America, "fuck yeah!!!!!!" ......this please me greatly as it means that i will have a gym less than a mile from my house where i can train with committed PL'ers.....word is, we might also be getting some really good strongman competitors coming as well.....so it is looking good
i will be getting a new PL bar and 'lending' my KB's to the gym, as well as helping to build some equipment as well as source the stuff we can't buy!
the atmosphere at this place is gonna be tight, i am really looking forward to seeing how this can impact my training for the upcoming British University PL championships where i hope to total enough to qualify for the GBPF Raw Nats!!!!!
i was also thinking that after the comp, i will take up some form of martial art again for fitness and conditioning purposes as i have become a bit too chunky for my liking.....i have a few years experience of judo, TKD and boxing....and i really enjoyed the judo and boxing, so i think it'll be between those two......luckily there are clubs for both within reasonable distance from my house and the gym might have some BJJ, so we'll see
that's all my inane ramblings taken care of......looking forward to starting work on Monday!!!!

Yes, things are looking up.... I am excited that August in here! July was a funny month for me so August should be looking up!
