alrighty sports fans
i have a brief update....
i did good at my meet, benched 145, so that is a 5kg PR on anything i have done before...nice to see the hard work in the gym paying off!
now a quick moral of the story type of deal....
one, be prepared...i nearly couldn't lift as i didn't have the right equipment, but luckily i had a willing accomplice and a few minutes before the meet i managed to get my shit together and obtain the right equipment.
two, believe in yourself....i failed my first attempt at 145, but i got pissed after some encouragement from my lifting buddies and i went after the friggin' weight and nailed it like a fat chick on all fours!!!
three, hard work and determination might not always get you what you want, but they will take you as far as your natural abilities will allow and that is all anybody can really do.....their best, not anybody else's!!!
