I'm currently enrolled in an introductory course to psychology (which I also took in high school) and it is a joke. On tuesday we had a class dicussion on evolution. Now, being a biology major, I know about evolution. A common misconception of Darwinism is that people think that Darwin said that mankind evolved from apes. WRONG. Darwin said nothing of the sort in any of his writtings. Social Darwinists created the theory that man evolved from apes to support their views of racism as well as sexism.
