So today I decided to check to see what one of my favorite bands (Milemarker) has been up to since I haven't heard anything about them in awhile. Turns out Dave Laney, the guitarist, was hit by a car while on the job as a bike messenger. He wrote all about the accident and the surgery to repair his collar bone with a piece of metal in an online journal (you should read it, it's pretty hilarious).
Well after reading about the whole incident I have never wanted to be a bike messenger so badly in all my life. Umm, is there something wrong with me? Broken collar bones?!! Rock I want that! I really think I just want some excitement in my life because making smoothies isn't doing it for me.

I finally found Eclipse, I picked up a double sic Twin Cities comp. I like a lot of the bands, even a few mohawks here and there.
So Fox is playing with the Soviettes 4/10, My brother will be in town to help me move so I'm going to buy him a drink or four and take him to it. You going?
I haven't lost any finger yets, but I do have bandages on four out of ten fingers....no stitches. First term Finals next week, my spring break is the first week in April, a few friends are visitng from home, but if you want to meet up and exchange ideas via cello and guitar, I'd be more than excited and willing.
I've been spending all my tips on CD's and whiskey, both good for the soul...kind of, but all can mean only one such thing, a mix tape is being formed from the recent orders fro Crimes Agaisnt Humanity and the record store excursiuons... you and Chuk feel like having one. I promised my damnnearbrother one(the spike hair kid in my photo section) one a month ago I refuse to buy just one blank tape considering the price difference in buying ten, or even five....
Concluding-a bike messenger is a tough job, not only are you constantly tormented by the urge to bike elsewhere than some place on your delivery route, but you are considered a role model for youngsters fbiking and skating alike to perform proper procedures while in action(turn signals, helmet, bike light,....etc) while I fully endorse these practices, I fail to practice them.
Maybe that is a virgin-in-the-beverage-delivery-service view on it all, considering I still have the willingness to offer my fake smile at the thought of a quarter tip, ahh, you know what I mean, of course it gets old, but honestly....bikes are a form of faster exploration, like a horse was in the 1200's(or whenever they were invented, I mean utilized), I've conjured up more thoughts on the subject, but it feels I've turned your journal space into my laziness to e-mail you my thoughts....
Playing a show?
So Fox?
Music ideas or direction?
Collaboration?
That's all I meant, no harm, just slur.
